new year means new sketchbook! I've been experimenting with colours more so I'm happy to try this out on tinted paper.
fweeeeee.I've actually finished colouring it since, I may update. But I really also like it with the minimal colours.

anyways, it's awesome how you can draw both humans and animals so perfectly. they work so well in your style, too.

ahaha well Swift is not my real dog, but there's certainly nothing wrong with sentimentality.
I'm not perfect with humans yet - there's so much variation to them, I'm just good at drawing myself because I do it fairly often. xD But thanks for the encouragement! It bugged me that I couldn't draw humans as well as I draw animals, so I've been practicing.

Tinted paper is CRAZYFUN. See if you can find some? D: Even if you can't get a recycled paper sketchbook you can at least get lone sheets of paper to scribble on I'm pretty sure.

I have some parchment paper that I've scribbled on before, I guess that counts. But a whole sketchbook is much cooler!

Parchment is lovely, I've tried it out before and I still have some that I play around with. Paper bags too, I like how the pencils look on them and they're cheap to come by. Hopefully you'll be able to find a recycled paper sketchbook where you are! I don't mind paying a bit more of it is good for environments.

This is really nice; that's a really pretty sketchbook you have. I saw some tinted recycled paper sketchbooks in art friend but they were pretty costly. DX Awh well, I got some money for my birthday so I just might pick up some.
I love the colouring; it looks really interesting with minimal colours, and both Shelly and Swift look great. I like how you did that slightly textured shading with the hair and the jeans.

Yeah, that's the only downside about recycled paper sketchbooks, the cost. D: Even if you don't get a whole sketchbook I think you could look for loose sheets of brown paper to play around with? I look forward to new arts from you!
