Description
The MS-14Q-C Gelgoog Hovercannon was conceived as a fast, highly-maneuverable ground combat fire-support unit in the growing Gelgoog line. Though the final battles of the One Year War were fought mainly in space, the Principality of Zeon did not abandon the development of ground-combat mobile suits, and this unit bears witness to that. Based loosely on the MS-14C Gelgoog Cannon, but featuring weapon and propulsion systems similar to those found in Zeon's earlier ground-combat types, this Gelgoog was set to be constructed in the early weeks of 0080. However, the war ended before the unit was produced, and the plans were later seized by the Earth Federation, who chose not to explore the design further.
