Special Talent: Flying, weather control, also is a very good painter
Bio:

- oldest of Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash's children
- knows of her mother's accident and how it left her stranded and flightless
- resents how she let the accident take over her whole life and is only just now starting to recover emotionally

- brash, arrogant, unsympathetic
- brave, determined, confident, honest

- really wanted to get into the Wonderbolts, but was rejected
- reluctantly works as a weather pony in Ponyville - a town she despises
- wants to move to Cloudsdale, but she doesn't have the means to live on her own yet, and she's stuck on the ground with her family because of Rainbow Dash
- knows she shouldn't hate Dash because of this. She shouldn't hate that Dash gave up the opportunity to be able to fly again. She shouldn't. But a little part of her does.

- Pastel and Fluttershy clash a lot
- Fluttershy tries to tell Pastel she needs to dial down her attitude if she wants to have a chance at being a Wonderbolt
- Pastel doesn't listen of course. Dash and Pastel...Don't get along.
- Dash sees too much of her own past ambitions in Pastel. Ambitions she couldn't follow.
- She and Pastel tend to just...not talk.
- Pastel knows Dash is closer to her younger brother anyway. Not that she cares. She totally doesn't want to impress Rainbow Dash with being in the Wonderbolts. That's totally not why she pursued flying in the first place instead of her potential art career. Nope.

- eventually she will be given the opportunity to join a new flying group; The Airhearts
- whether she succeeds in joining or not will be left a secret for now
