A logo design for the lovely owners of JK Aussies. This is their main man, "Spur"I had a lot of fun doing the red merle pattern on this guy: challenging but fun! ' Probably my favorite coat color (I'm a red fanatic)
Its nice to dabble in the herding group every now and then.
The background turned out suprisingly well, considering it was just a dash and a dab job

My friend has a lil blue merle baby boy! he's a real sweetie! still has his tail though, long tail, wags it so much nearly knocks himself over!

I don't think I've ever met a a red Merle that wasn't as sweet as sugar. They are a very calm breed, unless you're out herding with them; or if you keep them kept up in the house for too long.
Very beautiful work, indeed. The color pattern looks spot on, and I love the expression. It seems to show the 'Chase?! Chase?!' look very well, even if in a more intelligent seeming manner.

No Problem, I have six Chesapeake bay retrievers, myself, so I've seen a lot of pretty show Merle in my younger days.
I agree, their butts wiggle, a lot. I don't doubt that it's from the lack of tail, but I still find it hilarious to watch them wiggle in the ring.
