Terms for using my tutorials
When using my tutorials or techniques explained in my tutorials all I need is that you say or write "Inspired by Talty" somewhere on the description, that's all I'm asking for. A link back to my gallery or tutorial is appreciated, but not necessary. You can make anything in my tutorials for personal or commercial purposes (yes, that means you can sell what you make) but you can't claim these techniques as your own. No redistribution, reposting or repacking of my tutorials, images, text or any part of them is allowed. They can't be translated to other languages without my permission (ask me about it). FREE TUTORIAL, NEVER TRY TO SELL IT.
---------------------
UPDATE: The amazing ~Snowfern pointed out some mistakes I had made about the baking times. She explained to me why it was important to bake your items at the correct temperature, for the right amount of time. Even if your minis look fine, they're raw in the inside and they will deteriorate overtime! Not immediately, but in a few years they will crumble... so please, I can't stress how important it is to learn to bake your creations correctly!
I am sorry everyone for the mistake, I hope I didn't cause trouble
--------------------
MY MOST AMBITIOUS TUTORIAL TO THIS DAY IS FINALLY COMPLETED.
One of the tutorials that helped me the most when I was learning how to make cakes was this [link] by Betsy Niederer
If you still have trouble understanding how to texture the cake, I recommend you see this video [link] by *fairchildart
Cake brush by ~Nana-viciouS
Cakes are one of the most complicated things I do, so the tutorial ended up being quite long... actually they're not complicated, they're quite easy but they involve many steps.
This took me months to finish, months! I took the first photos 3 months ago, and the last one just a couple of days ago. It was getting ridiculous: the more I advanced, the more I felt the need to take a new photo, explain a new technique, revise everything... I had to stop myself from dragging the tutorial any longer. It's finished, but I'm sure that I'll want to revise it again in the future.
Well that explains why the lightning is so inconsistent. I'm sorry about that, I hope it's not too annoying.
My next tutorial is going to be something quick and easy or I'll die

i'm so proud that somehow holding small things gently is natural to me. I'm amazed that things as big and clumsy as human hands can make such tiny and delicate things. X3

Before I even read past this second paragraph, I want to say this right now. Your work, is absolutely beautiful for my eyes to see. I am rather obsessed with miniatures, and of course we all start somewhere. I bet your progress has been awesome, innovative, and fun. I want to thank you for not only being creative but for wanting others to be creative too! Polymer is a world of endless possibilities and it can be over bearing getting started with it. I am so lucky to have used Pintrest and been linked to your tutorial, it can be hard to get through all the spam on the site. Anyways once again thank you a million times I have to watch you know and I really hope I can observe and create as well as you have!

Wow that's one of the nicest comments I've ever received, I truly appreciate your words and that you found me, I love teaching and helping so it's amazing to know I can inspire others and help them start let me know if I can do anything else! I'm so happy that you liked my work
it's a fabulous activity, I hope you'll love it as much as I do

Haha like? Truly an understatement, it's a new level of miniatures for me to view. I've got a small collection of artists I value on my list and you're definitely at the top now. I've subscribed to your Youtube and left a few things here and there in it (creepy I know). I'm such an enthusiast about art and sharing art, the joy it gives to create what you're wanting to.
My favorite part about seeing this tutorial was your technique you discovered after fiddling with other types, you mentioned how most want to hide their secrets but you couldn't resist sharing it. I too messed with a few techniques for the "icing" and I came across the same idea you did so I was glad to see I'm using my noodle too!
I think that's the best part about miniatures, all the things you can use with innovation as your best tool.

Thank you so much for the extremely helpful tutorial. I have been running low on money this year, so instead of buying gifts I was going to make them for christmas. I have been wanting to make mini cake/pie/etc. earrings or necklaces, but never knew how. I will test this out as soon as I can. The ones that used your tutorial look good, so I'm sure I can do it(im use to using super sculpty for characters not food).

Absolutely fantastic! I appreciate your kindness for sharing this with everyone. Not many people like you around I am fairly new in the Polymer Clay world and will take this information as help to produce something cute and beautiful instead of copying others work like many other "Clayers" do! That's how serious I am and that's my appreciation for those of you that share your knowledge with people like me!
Thanks Liz

sorry I really need to update the tutorial to explain that you can make a small slit on the fondant to fit the eyepin, it's not difficult at all
