Is it like, you draw on some blank screen and rhe stuff shows up on a connected computer screen or does it show up on the tablet itself?
Sorry I'm asking so many questions, but my mum is considering getting me one so I want to know a lot about tablets~

You have all kinds. You draw on the tablet and it appears on your computer screen. It will take a while to get used to because it draws differently than on paper.

There are a lot more models so see which fits you. At that time I got it for 80 euro's. It might be cheaper now and it will probably be priced differently where you live. In some stores you can try it out. I would recommend doing that. That way you know how it feels and works before you buy it.
I also have a A4 tablet but rarely use it any more because it's so big. The bamboo pen is perfect for travelling as well.
Ofcourse my ultimate dream would be to get a Cintiq 24HD Pen Display (you draw directly on the screen) but those are really expensive (2500 euro's) and mostly get used by pros.

One last question (I think), do you download Paint Tool SAI and other drawing programs onto the computer that you connect with or the tablet itself?

I'm not sure I understand your question. You install the tablet and then you can use it in art programs. For photoshop you can also play around with how and when you want to use the pen pressure. Once you have your tablet installed your done. No other work required.

So it's just like an extra 'screen' for a computer?
Like I don't download programs onto the tablet itself, but the computer it's connected to right?

No, you just need a computer and a tablet and that's it. You plug your tablet into your USB port, install it and done. You don't install anything onto the tablet. You install the tablet onto your computer. It's really easy.

No... the marble texture is made by another DA artist. I put a link to her in my description with her files. You have to download this file of hers and install it:
