PE: Presentation mattersPresentation mattersIt's not just the artwork that tells you something about it's creator - on the internet, the way you present it is at least equally as important. Your painting can be a masterpiece, hanged in a local gallery, but as long as you post a blurry, badly cropped picture named "1564873" along with "..." in an artist's description, nobody will ever bother visiting your gallery. Creating a nice, representative profile page and setting a certain visual quality standard takes extra time and effort, but if you really care for your work (even if it's just a hobby), you should treat it with some respect.

I've checked 3 tutorials to make a background for custom boxes, and none has worked

And this is how it looks like...instead of appearing the picture of the url (it's on my sta.sh) just appear like a link. On your tutorial appears the background pic on the first sterps, before writing any text.

I'm having a bit of a problem here
I put in the code just as instructed and then put my text in the directed area. Unfortunately, the text does not appear on the background, the image is in the custom box but the text appears below it

I made a 1000 x 1300 Background file for my custom boxes.
I have some problems whit this spaces (it's red marked)
is there a way to pass the files on the edges of the boxes ?

Alright, haven't been doing this long but I think I can help. You just need to adjust the width of your image, it's an easy fix. Right where it says this in the code: (with your image URL replacing the "IMAGE URL HERE" of course) You would add width="850" right between img and src. So it would look like:
You don't have to exactly put 850, but for most of the tutorials I've read they've explained that a good width is at least 800 pixals. If you plug in the 850 and it still doesn't work than it's just all about trial and error. Mess around with the number until your background fits your boxes and you should be good.

you have to do it in photosop or some other program... be careful not more widht than 400px
