PE: Presentation mattersPresentation mattersIt's not just the artwork that tells you something about it's creator - on the internet, the way you present it is at least equally as important. Your painting can be a masterpiece, hanged in a local gallery, but as long as you post a blurry, badly cropped picture named "1564873" along with "..." in an artist's description, nobody will ever bother visiting your gallery. Creating a nice, representative profile page and setting a certain visual quality standard takes extra time and effort, but if you really care for your work (even if it's just a hobby), you should treat it with some respect.

I followed the code and instructions but every single time I put in the background it stays for some time and then doesn't show up at all.

I seem to have an issue with my background. I put in the code just as instructed and then put my text in the directed area. Unfortunately, the text does not appear on the background, the image is in the custom box but the text appears below it. If anyone could help me out, this would be much appreciated.

Just one question: how do I get the custom widgets to go above the deviantID and Journal widgets? Everytime I try to do it, it says "cannot put here in this zone." Is there a way to work around this?

You can't. Deviantart chose settings / areas for it so you cant put it over it. i hate it - thats why I only use custom boxes and removed everything else
but u can customize your ID

So basically you're saying remove widgets in personal zone so custom box widgets can overlap them.
