Starfleet must have been in error assigning me to this vessel. I specifically requested to serve aboard a starship with a primarily Vulcan crew. The Humans I trained and served with previously did not impress me with their lack of discipline. I pursued a bridge officer position so that I would have more say in where I was assigned. I do not appreciate being ignored.

You should have expected to be ignored, T'Shaara. That kind of thinking does not agree with Starfleet's principles.

If their principles mean endangering my life, our lives, Vael, then how are they reasonable?

Don't dismiss Humans so readily. They possess a great well of strength that we could do well to learn from. Consider that they retain emotions without falling slave to them. The last Vulcans to hold on to their emotions became Romulans. Remember that next time you judge them.

The only thing strong about Humans seems to be their odor.

Once you see them in combat you may change your mind. Don't forget, I served in time of war and I'm still here.

And the smell?

If you don't mind bland food I can prescribe a nasal numbing agent, though personally I prefer incense.
