Cpl. Valentina Danilova: born 15 May, 2557 on colony orbiting 70 Ophiuchi 7. Raised by marine biologists studying transplanted populations of whales on ocean exoplanet.

Lt. Gavrila Myshkina: born 12 March, 2555 on Earth. Raised by fishermen in a small village on the Volga.

These two lead the VDV fireteam I follow in most of my Soviet-perspective stuff, pictured here as they appeared in the Strelets-37 arc in about 2583. They've been tear-assing around together on Gromov 271 since about '77, occasionally dropping planetside to whoop some NATO or UA ass. They share a sometimes-tense but durable friendship. Gav's the blonde one.

Inspired by a promo shot for Star Trek. Also playing with a different inking style. Trying the whole thick-line thing.


