Could you teach me how to properly model a glass? I have struggled to make one, which is why I have a couple of wine glasses tests in my gallery, and I couldn't figure it out. I kept using the push/pull tool, scale tool to shape the glass, and then repeat the push/pull tool.

The secret is to use the follow me tool and a circle to 'lathe' the shape you want. I just found a couple of tutes online which explain the process the first is a sketchup model [link] the second is a vid [link] both explain the process fairly well.
I use this method extensively, the bottle was also created in this manner (based on an actual bottle) and if you're familiar with my steampunk raygun :thumb174018694: that was also created using follow me. once you have the hang of it you can create really complex shapes just by drawing the profile.
