Description
I designed the mech in the following link at a time when i had little 3D modeling skills. [link]i like it, but it needed updating. im amazed at how fast i got this done, it was a single sitting. Its a recon/light attack mech with sharp limbs for close combat and a missle launcher mounted on its back.

wow! cool looking! I like the spidrelike design. but one thing was bugging me for a while, you seem to use very similiar pieces in every model you do...I think you could make some diferent type of design and with a little more detail, thus I still like your models.

Thanks im glad you like it! i dont totally agree with you about them looking too similar, in fact i done this one partly because you asked on my last deviation for a more mobile mech. If you look at this mech and the other one you commented on (onslaught mech) i think they are about as different as you can get! i agree this on could have done with al little more detail, although i did complete this very quickly. i might think baout doing a humanoid design next. Thanks for the comment

well, I agree they are different, but I think, that they are somehow constructed like LEGO (tm), the same or similiar pieces to construct a variety of things, that's why I think it would be nice if you made much more diferent pieces in every model. I noticed that in your models you can easily distinguish the pieces, so in my opinion you could use a diferent design style, for example in this mech the joints(I don't know the real name) are all the same, making it look a bit linear, If you just change the shape of every leg you could come out with something more realistic.
