Yeah it is, I checked it more than ten times. But every time I click on the bone of the leg, it tells me there's something, no matter what but the bone which I selected isn't red... damn I'm confused.. and I can't find any tutorials though.

when I try to do that it just weights itself to one side. Do you know how to fix this? ;w;

Tehrainbowllama In reply to PrincessMikiMiki [2013-11-07 21:44:19 +0000 UTC]

I have no idea what is wrong. o:
Are you doing it in PMD or PMX editor?
From personal experience, i think PMD editor yields better results.

PrincessMikiMiki In reply to Tehrainbowllama [2013-11-07 21:46:55 +0000 UTC]

I was using PMX and it's ok since I've already finished weighting the other side now x3

But I'll remember next time to try and use PMD editor if I wanna do that. Thank you

( I dunno how to read bone numbers and I've got PMX editor. Mind explaining what numbers are what? )

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Tehrainbowllama In reply to AskOrlenaLouisiana [2013-10-04 02:10:31 +0000 UTC]

numbers are the "identity of a bone".
they aren't necessarily the same, but they differ. (ex: bone # 6 could be the "head-bone" in one model and it could be a "upper- body bone" in another.)
each number has a "parent-bone" box (what they are attached to) and a "child-bone" box. (what is attached to them.)
by submitting a number in one of the boxes, you can identify what is attached to it and what itself is attached to.

Ok! I got it now! And I fixed the hat and bow issue... But now her eyes move out of her head. How do I fix that?!

Tehrainbowllama In reply to AskOrlenaLouisiana [2013-10-04 20:32:09 +0000 UTC]

perhaps you could try rigging the eyes to the head-bone.

Probably using PMX error finder and deleting all the errors since I don't know any other way to fix them.

I did everything you said to do, but when I did this with a miku model, both pigtails rigged themselves to one side of the models bones, what did I do wrong? its a pmx model too

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Tehrainbowllama In reply to vocaloidX2583 [2013-07-16 18:58:15 +0000 UTC]

i don't know. o:
maybe you could attach the set of bones not rigged to it's rightful side to that side.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

vocaloidX2583 In reply to Tehrainbowllama [2013-07-17 17:07:51 +0000 UTC]

But there are two pigtails on one bone so, the left and right pigtails are rigged to just the left side of pigtail bones

Tehrainbowllama In reply to vocaloidX2583 [2013-07-17 18:42:31 +0000 UTC]

did you mirror the bones for the pigtail?
i'm just a tad confused.
