Ooooooooookay... maybe I lied. I woke up at 1 am and all the sudden I could draw. Drawing block over.
Soooooooo I decided to try to do a tutorial on how I draw chibis. I know it's horrible I'm sorry and I babble too much. I just can't explain! *twitch*Erm so yeah. For those who want to know I draw all my sketches in photoshop CS2 with a 1 px hard brush with a non-pressure sensitive tablet. Just in case you're wondering why they're so messy

No problem. I plan to do more, try to improve, especially since I have at least one other person who wants me to draw one, and I want to re-do that one since I already know I did badly with it, to big of a head.

Oh don't worry about having a bad tablet. I'm sure you'll get used to it. When I made this tutorial I was actually working on one that had no pressure sensitivity whatsoever. It was actually pretty odd since it defeats the purpose of a tablet, but whatever xD

You can't even imagine how much this helped. My chibis went from-cute ugly blobs, to actually cute blobs..... 'Cept why is the head always too big (pretty much on anything I draw) :<

omg! this is so helpful! i dont use the computer for drawing these are just....wow! i drew somthing similar to that but the face is pretty hard.

Thanks for this! Though I have a question; I'm gonna be drawing a chibi of Ed (from FMAB) but he's cosplaying as Ichigo in his Shinigami form, but the thing is the costume is too big so the right sleeve is falling down ('cause his left arm is up, 'cause he was studying it for some reason) and part of his chest is showing. I don't think you do but do you draw the abs on a male chibi?

Sorry for the delayed response. I think it completely depends on your style of chibi. Lately, my chibis have been more child-like so in that style, I would say no, but in the traditional "SD" style, it's perfectly fine to draw wrinkles, abs, beards, whatever, especially if it makes the character more recognizable. I've seen plenty of chibis with breasts, heck, I've drawn them myself. I don't think it's that different than drawing abs on a male, right?
Anyways, it's all up to artistic interpretation
