Description
Based on the UDK version, the conversion of the scene for PSP took me less than a week. I reduced the meshes and the textures ( almost only 128x128 in 16 colors, but the wheel and the cliffs have a 256x256 in 16 colors ).Polycount is 48 000 tris in Maya.
The wheel, the ice blocks and the barrel in the water are animated. I added snow, fire and smoke particles ( approx 450 particles ). The sky is a stretched 128x128 gradient green-yellow-green mapped on a cylinder. The top and the bottom of the cylinder have a 0 alpha value on the vertex color to blend with the engine background. Fog is enabled.
The scene looks very saturated, but it's desaturated on the PSP screen.
The GPU runs between 5000 and 14000mhz ( we have to stay under 16666mhz which represents 60FPS ), and the CPU runs at 6000mhz.

I like this one more than the HQ version. There's just something very nostalgic in this. Everything done from scrap?

Everything is a reduced version of UDK. I took the same meshes and optimized them ( but I had to redo some meshes like the wood pieces and the roofs ), and the textures are reduced, sharpened and quantized. But when I did the UDK version, I had to keep in mind that the ressources would be used for PSP too.
