Close up on some props I did for my scene with the stats. The throne is animated.Everything is handpainted with 3D-Coat.
Done with Max, Zbrush, xNormals, 3D-Coat, Photoshop, Maya ( skinning and animation of the crow ).
Renderd with UDK.

Looks good, but placing it on a black background makes is really tough to look at.

Yeah you're right, next time I will use a dark gray background as in every 3D software, gray is neutral for the eye and we better focus on the model ^^.

so old and woody it really got that medieval fantasy touch on it
