- Day 9: Poison -

Crawling out of the Vietnamese jungles came a giant lizard, poison oozing out of its mouth like a rabid dog. Heading straight for Ho Chi Minh City, it paid no attention to whatever came in its path. Moving at incredible speed, it didn't take long before it was upon the city to wreak havoc. D.A.K.A responded with supersonic jets able to match the monster's speed, but it managed to avoid direct fire by weaving in and out between buildings. After taking out several jets with spike projectiles and globs of pure poison it proceeded to jump into the Saigon River and disappeared into the ocean. D.A.K.A was confused at why it retreated when it had the upper hand, but not long after its disappearance the tracking signature of Orcadire appeared near Vietnam. It's as if the apex kaiju can tell the presence of other kaijus on the planet and are actively hunting them down. Is it just defending its territory, or does it see itself as our guardian?
