i like it, but wasn't this trio originally called flurry sleet and hail? or is froze this character's official name?

Yeah, all the "Hero" versions of the Avatars were given names: [link] So I'm going with the official names (and new matching names for the others) as long as none of them conflict with other pre-existing characters...like the Namekian, who was named Tsumuri. A Namekian with that name was already created a decade ago for another game, so the new guy gets a rename.
