...and in picture publisher, i scan normally.... lighten the image with "hue shift" til the base is white, then i use the efffect "stretch detail" which seriously darkens the lines

As a reminder folks, you can also access Levels by pressing Cmd (on macs) or Ctrl (on PCs) + L. Knowing your Photoshop shortcuts can speed you up greatly.

man.....its so simple!
i guess the main key is keeping the pencil lines as tight as possible..
couldnt really apply to a charcoal drawing i guess.

And to get the levels-window, you can either hit ctrl+L, or access it via the Image/Adjustments menu at the top (I think).

im takin them notes you use dude......Photoshop still eludes me to this day of using it properly......but no more.....thanks Cham, this helps alot- and for most or all of your Gallery works do you use the mouse to color? or Tablet?
