Description
I felt like drawing some Pokemon, so I decided to do my favorite generation of starter Pokemon. I'm going to do Charizard, Venusaur, and Blastoise with their full evolutions. So the first one is Charizard, probably my favorite out of the three. I'll post Venusaur and Blastoise as soon as they're done.My site: rushelle.com/

Such a neat idea...although...he's a bit scarier than the usual Charizard...

The charizard has really neat colors! Specially well done because its done with pencils (I'm way to lazy for that).
You could have worked a bit more on charmeleon and charmender though, They don't look as nice and details as the charziard.
Also, the background needs some working on. It would have been better if everything was done with colored pencils instead of the semi photoshop part. Also the perspective of the broken rock seems of compared to the position of the charizard.

Thanks! I actually did the entire thing in color pencil, I just blurred the background a pinch to bring the foreground figures out more. I totally agree I should have worked more on Charmander and Charmeleon. I made sure I gave equal attention in my Venusaur picture that I will load soon.

This is definitely an interesting interpretation. The articulation of the charizard is especially impressive, and the details on the scales and wings came out nicely. It's cool how you managed to make it look more realistic and yet kept the original color scheme. Excellent background as well; simple, yet dynamic.
