March 2020 | 15 x 18 1/2 | Gouache Paints with Coloured Pencile on HotPress Watercolour Paper

I’d been wanting to do an Avatar illustration for some time, but just never could figure out what I wanted to do. Fortunately, "Fan Factory” decided to hold an art contest focusing on the show, and the winner would get some cash, a BluRay set of the series and maybe even have their art turned into a T-shirt or something. I found out about it fairly last minute, but I entered. I never heard what the results were, but I think it's safe to say I didn't win. Oh well. I think I had a good shot - I’m very proud of the piece, especially considering the limited time I had to create it in.
