*** This is technically a re-posting of this illustration. I plan to do so with all of my Potter art work, building up to (hopefully) having some new stuff to share there after. So if you feel like you've seen this before - you probably have. On the upside, I'm sharing it at a larger resolution and without the DeviantArt watermark on it now ***

It was hard not painting Fluffy for the painting in Chapter Nine, but I knew I'd have a second chance... and this was a good moment to paint for the chapter, otherwise I'd have had to choose which of the challenges was more important than the others to paint. Also, this chapter is called "Through the Trapdoor" - so this moment seemed all to obvious to paint.

I thought I'd be more disappointed not showing Fluffy growling or barking, but I really liked the way he turned out. Also, it was fun to get to show the invisibility cloak again - I'm proud of the way I illustrate it's effects - you can only see the underside of it.
