*** This is technically a re-posting of this illustration. I plan to do so with all of my Potter art work building up (hopefully) to having some new stuff to share there after. So if you feel like you've seen this before - you probably have. On the upside, I'm sharing it at a larger resolution and without the DeviantArt watermark on it now ***

I had fun with these drawings. The mantel was a little boring to do, but there were less anatomy issues than with Chapter 1... they're not completely gone mind you, but better. Though she's not technically seen in this book, I had fun and did a drawing of Mrs.Figg with her broken leg... it'll be fun to revisit her in Order of the Phoenix. I was happy with how Dudley and his presents turned out. Though my favorite, and for some reason it's one of my favorite drawings from the whole book, is Harry in his cupboard under the stairs at the end of the chapter. The one from the beginning - his head's a little too big; not sure what I was thinking. No the last drawing of this chapter - it's depressing, but there was a beauty to it.

Fun Fact: I mentioned this in the chapter 1 vignette drawings, but I had originally planned on painting all the vignettes. I did all of the chapter 1 scenes, but only did 1 of chapter 2... Mrs. Figg. I think I had decided not to painting anymore before doing it... but it was just too cute a scene not to see it through
