*** This is technically a re-posting of this illustration. I plan to do so with all of my Potter art work building up (hopefully) to having some new stuff to share there after. So if you feel like you've seen this before - you probably have. On the upside, I'm sharing it at a larger resolution and without the DeviantArt watermark on it now **

In general, I liked these drawings. I hated doing the Hogwarts Express, because I hate drawing mechanical/structural things. The castle also provided a slight challenge, though it was a bit more forgiving. I was very happy with the sense of motion in Harry pushing his cart, preparing to go through the barrier to Platform 9 3/4. Overall, it felt like a nice balance.

Fun Fact: The scene of the Weasleys is loosely based on a drawing J.K.Rowling did of the lot. The positioning is about the same, though I added my own little flourishes and had some story to tell.

"Fun" Fact: One of my... rare... moments of inconsistency. The window in Harry's room is the wrong shape. At the time I did it to show Hedwig flying around outside, but based on the way I draw/paint it later... it should be taller. At the end of the day. it was a minor flub, so I let it go. But I fully admit my error.
