Each Drawing varies in side though they are no larger than 8 x 14Pencil on Paper
*** This is technically a re-posting of this illustration. I plan to do so with all of my Potter art work building up (hopefully) to having some new stuff to share there after. So if you feel like you've seen this before - you probably have. On the upside, I'm sharing it at a larger resolution and without the DeviantArt watermark on it now ***
I'm not sure what to say about these vignette drawings. I don't have strong feelings for them. That isn't a bad thing, because while I don't have strong feelings of like I also don't have strong feelings of dislike. They just sort of -are- for me. My favorite of the bunch is Ginny - freaking out seeing Harry, though I am proud of how the fight for Harry between Mr.Dursley and the Weasley's turned out. So while they aren't my favorites of all time, I do hope you still enjoy them

It's a shame that, while Percy and Arthur have glasses in the books, they don't have them in the films though. I wonder if that was a problem somewhat for the actors that played them?

I have my doubts that it was a problem for them, so much as they (the producers and designers of the movie) didn't find it important for the characters. But I'm with you - it's a shame that they weren't more faithful to the descriptions

The only exception is that I like how the male actors had long hair in the fourth movie, because that formed the basis for my hair IRL x3

When I re-read this chapter, I was really hoping that you'd draw a vignette of a gnome and I was not disappointed! Your Ginny is so tiny. I look forward to watching her and the rest of the characters grow as you progress. Dursley vs Weasleys is absolutely hilarious with Harry simply suspended between them. Your bashful Ron is perfect. I like how you showed it with body language instead of facial features.

Oh there was never a doubt that there'd be a garden gnome - I don't think my hubby would have let me get away with that - he thinks they're really funny. But even if he didn't get such a kick out of them, I wanted to do them too

I thought you'd have more to say of the Weasley parents and the ... whateveritis in the gardens.

Yeah, sometimes I walk away from a chapter surprised at how little I felt compelled to draw/paint for it. There does seem like there could be more "said"from this chapter... but when I did these drawings, this is all that came out of me.
