Yes, I know this is kind of old, but still, with college and other social obligations, I haven't been able to post as much stamps on here as I want to.

But first, let me get this straight; I don't agree with Trump's way of phrasing the whole "shithole" countries.  I think it was not only uncalled for, but also not ain good taste or ethics.  But I understand where he's coming from.

Keep in mind, Trump was not refearing to the PEOPLE of those countries as "shitholes" but he was refearing to how the governments of those "shithole" countries run the whole place.  Keep in mind that one of the countries that Trump pointed out not only has the highest rate of government corruption in the Americas, but also has rampant sex trafficking, corrupt politicians, as well as corrupt business who run the country's profits dry while the ordinary people get the short end of the stick.

Another think to keep in mind, is that the people of those countries are not shitholes.  The governments of those countries, who have not only robbed the people of a sense of stability, pride, and ownership are to blame for the despair that most of the people face, not the people themselves.

The elites of those shithole countries make business deals with the likes of Trump but that's just me.

Why do so many countries have such bad governments? Who materially supports the actions of those governments and turns a blind eye to their human rights abuses to help them stay in power? And most importantly of all, who do those governments represent? Who benefits from their policies and supports their tyranny in return for the benefits they receive?

If Trump were talking about the governments of those countries being shitholes and not the people, why would he say that immigration from those countries is undesirable?

Of all the things that can be said about Trump, him being tactful is not one of them. He's blunt and doesn't care who takes offense when he says what he believes.

For better or worse, that's why he's in office.  People saw him as a "Fuck-you" vote to the establishment, as it were.

And they weren't exactly wrong.
