Description

  In the middle of the lab laid a tedi in white scrubs on a table. He was bound by cuffs around his wrists and ankles, straps kept his forehead, chest, stomach, and thighs in place as well. Someone didn't want him to move an inch. Surrounding him on all of the eight directions were tedi scientists. Their scrubs were black with red accents, each sleeve bore a different mark to differentiate themselves from one another.

  They all stood by and watched as a mechanical arms whir downward with the grind of machinery within it's sleek shell. The end of the arm opened up and a syringe slide out. The needle didn't go through the arm or the neck, instead it plunged right into of the bound tedi's chest.

  He groaned in agony as the long and massive syringe bore it's way through his skin and rib cage and delicately punctured the heart with a much smaller syringe tucked away in the tip.

  The stress of the matter worked in their favor as the heart beat faster and the contents of the syringe was pumped out throughout the body with ease. Being cold and calculating, the ones who developed the machine knew that fear increased adrenaline, which made the blood flow like a raging river.

  “Test 59 of serum V-5C, Initial injection has been administered. Awaiting for any side effects.”

  The bound subject cried out as the syringe cauterized his wounds shut as it was slowly pulled out. The only thing left behind was a singed mark.

  “Subject hasn't expired from the initial injection.”

  “Subject hasn't expired within 3 seconds after initial injection.”

  “Subject hasn't expired within 5 seconds...”

  “10 seconds...”

  “30 seconds...”

  “1 minute...”

  …

  “4 hours and no negative side effects and no expiration. Validus Prototype Series 5 Variant C is looking to be where we continue. Return subject back to their cell for further observation. Prepare to recreate a line after the 72 hour observation period shows a success bond.”

  The subject by now was knocked out from exhaustion after being strapped down for so long. A few scientist went in to free the subject and a few wheeled in a gurney. As they hoisted the subject over, he jolted awake and looked at the nearest scientist.

  “Relax, you are being returned to your room.” The near scientist said as other scientists came forward to hold the subject still. “Lay back down and allow us to place you onto this gurney.”

  The subject stared blankly at the scientist, not a single word got through to him it seemed.

  “Mark hearing loss as a potential side effect to the serum.” The scientist turned to the observation deck.

  Three figured watched from the tinted glass. The middle was the weasel researcher, the overseer of the project and on either side of him was his assistants/senior scientists. The weasel watched intently on the floor below him.

  Then pandemonium...
