Behind the Scenes Journal Entry:
The Magic Inside Animation Test +Behind the ScenesBEHIND THE SCENES
By the time you all get to see this the final render for this preview animation will have been already been completed and released to you all. You can watch it in the embeded video player above. But as I am typing this journal entry, I'm about 24 hours in of a 50 hours render of 545 frames. So while I have all this time to kill, I thought that I might as well put together a behind the scenes journal entry for you curious folk out there.
I spent a little over a month animating and putting this 21 second section of The Magic Inside 3D together. I plan to be working on the rest of this project with the full song for the next year.
I haven't really showed behind the scenes stuff like I'm about to right now before, so hopefully I explain things well enough and provide enough information and behind the scenes content.
BLOCKING
Around the middle of August, I started to block out the animation. That basically means I look at the source material (this being the 2D anima
