Description
Peak at the animation process. This isn't even my final form!
Frame by frame animation is a very tedious process which has to be built up to give the smoothest result possible and starts with a basic construction so you can get the movements to look as good as possible.
Then I personally build a more detailed construction on top of that so I've got the shape down and the movements.
Then I build the second construction to iron-out any faulty animation which doesn't work and replace it, sometimes drawings need to be re-drawn entirely.
There then comes a sem-final version where I usually add little touches to the animation.
Then the final version where it's traced and all the detail of the charater added.
As you can tell, it's an very tedious process meaning you have to draw the same drawing only slightly different from the last. Though it can be time consuming the end result can be very rewarding.
Expert animators can get away with only a couple of construction attempts, I on the other had need at least 4 to get it right. lol
Cheers
