Description WHOO!!! That's a lot of nostalgia!

Literally, just about all of these characters (except for Dr. Bellgor) had come from a much older work of mine, having been revived to fit the present day!

Okay, tell you what, I think I'm gonna sleep on the last couple of characters. I kinda have a headache, so I'm going to bed "early" for once (i.e. 12:25 at night). Anyway, catch ya later, and hope you like what I've got so far!

And do let me know if there's any other character of mine/yours you'd like to see make a grand comeback!

------------------------------

VHC 002 - Stands for Viral Hazard Code 002! And this was pretty much the result of Dr. Karkan playing around with life-creating tech that he shouldn't. Basically a piece of tech that can synthesize semi-intelligent "servants" based from non-intelligent creatures. The short version: it can basically create slave races/individual slaves. And one of Liliel's tasks was to get that thing, and dismantle it, since it was NOT one of the Outland's equipment. HOWEVER, Dr. Karkan got his hands on it, and started with something simple. Like a petri dish full of viruses, and a simple cell. WELL...the viruses, despite being made second, developed into the first experimental individual. One that can plant copies of itself into people, superheat itself, and cause mutations. Can't wait to hear how Dr. Karkan loses control of this one.

GEC 001 - ON THE OTHER HAND, GEC is also a servant-creature made from that same weird machine. Except it's far more benevolent, on account of being based from a simple animal cell. It multiplies, and is too much of a blank slate to really know how to do much else. Although it's learning! And it is admittedly kinda touchy. In that it likes to touch stuff with its sensory flagella. His existence is something of a sore spot for the Blades of Freyr, since VHC was destructive and highly disobedient, attempting to slaughter literally ANY living thing in its sights. And GEC got picked up by the wrong person. So much for a first trial.

The Landlord - A Ghost! But a ghost with a rather important job in mind! He knows of the pain ghosts go through whenever they are stricken with a grounding curse that binds them to the place where they perish. ESPECIALLY haunted houses. It so happens that he is a prolific member of Chaos's Ghostly Labor Union Employment. One of the oldest employees there! And well...he uses the many chakras he's earned to free ghosts from entrapment. By buying their property, and officially signing a waiver to allow them to leave. He's SUPER rich, keeps a thorough record of all the properties he owns, and has even helped King Norbert acquire the island which would eventually become the Royal Kingdom.

Naamah - (belongs to ) She comes from the Shadow Kingdom. Before Lord Styx had ever acquired it, it was a place of grey skies, arid, blackened landscapes, deadly beasts, voidium deposits that sap away magic energy, and...a formerly active slave trade. At least until Lord Styx rose to power, and had it stamped it out, to make way for the advent of his Shadow Council. As it so happens...Naamah had come to King Norbert and his friends for help. Because she wants to have her shitty mother and father murdered, before they usurp their political position. It sounds bad, but trust me...her parents are TERRIBLE people. To put it really, really lightly. It was here that Naamah had found help in destroying her evil parents...and forming a relationship with the most unlikely person.

Red Tail - This Birdfolk hails from the Wind Kingdom's Thundering Plains. He was born with a great assortment of telepathic abilities, and had been found by King Norbert when he was but a mere 8 years old. His family members were decimated, and all that was left was a Silver Shawl, containing the spirit of his mother to ward off evil magic and offensive spells. As well as a Dreamcatcher, which contains the spirit of his big brother, and protects his mind from evil suggestion and excessive thoughts he cannot filter out. King Norbert knows not the reason behind his tribe's death...but he knew well enough that he had to be there for Red Tail. And had proceeded to raise the boy like his own son, regarding him as such even after marrying Queen Annie. He is enormously intelligent, and had used that to help Naamah on her mission. What's more...all this time spent together seems to have made them a bit...close. To put it very mildly.

Dr. Bellgor - P.S he's NOT quite a character I already made, but one that was highly relevant to another character's story. Dr. Bellgor is the rare example of a demon who DIDN'T settle for becoming mindless cannon fodder, and was meant to serve Sargjinn through intelligent means. I.e. through researching, and carrying out black magic experiments. Particularly, a magnum opus to create an incredibly powerful dark magical being, to be the son of Sargjinn himself. Created from the power of many sinful souls, sealed inside of a single body, this thing could've been a great threat! Except...he learned too much. He saw something within Sargjinn that even he couldn't handle. Something that provided him enough humanity to set his creation free, and flee Hell alongside it. Dr. Bellgor is missing...but his creation roams free, loving the world outside of the Inferno, and fearing Sargjinn and his forces.

Tundaria - (belongs to ) Her airship, the S.S Expand Dong, is actually quite a force to reckon with, despite its funny name. It may have to do with the fact that it is indeed very big, and very, VERY hard, having a hull of reinforced metals that most battleships cannot sink their cannons into! Not long before they retaliate in kind. As of now, they are their own force of birdy buccaneers, mostly being comprised of either Birdfolk, or avian Animal Folk. Although they're not yet affiliated with Olayinka's Seven Flag Coalition, they do have something of a love-hate relationship with the Coalition's Odyssey, and their captain Circe Argyris.

Dr. Gillmore - By all accounts, this guy should be dead as dust! In fact, for a time he WAS. However...he had come back alive and well, via inexplicable means. He DOES claims that he knows a lot about interdimensional phenomena, as well as how traveling between realities works. He claims that he had used this knowledge to "back himself up" in the event that something should happen to him, for it would be a shame to lose this much knowledge! And by the time weirder things start showing up in Liliel's wake, the Gizmo Guild will most DEFINITELY need to find this guy, and consult his great knowledge! The only question now is how DID he come to know this weird junk? Well, he ain't telling yet!

Atlas - He cannot be saved yet. He is currently under the servitude of a powerful sorceress known simply as...Erinye. As it was, this young Gnoll was found with no living parents or family. But leave it to Erinye to take this innocent young boy, and turn him into a monster. A cannibalistic attack dog that quite literally eats people. Yet parts of his consciousness seep through, allowing all to see that there is still a little boy suffering in there. He has most often encountered Adrian and Kasandra. And why...those two want to save him. They want to adopt him. Some day, they'll give him a life better than the one he's currently leading with Erinye.

Agnar - He is King Norbert's firstborn son. He's still quite young, at least 5 years old, and the first child that Queen Annie had given birth to. As it is, he sorta has his mother's eyes! Yet one must consider, that the ordeal of childbirth was VERY hard on such a small woman. Which is why it was King Norbert's bodyguards who suggested a "special doctor" to help with Agnar's delivery. Said doctor being a strange mechanical...thing calling herself Dr. Frieda. Her handiwork as a midwife had made this beautiful boy's birth possible, without resulting in an untimely death. However...it had admittedly made King Norbert wonder about the true origins of his two bodyguards. And seriously consider adoption, or other options in case they ever want to try for a baby again.

Doppelganger - THIS is what Dr. Bellgor worked so hard to create. He has the power of 1000 sinful souls entrapped within his body. He is about as difficult to kill as Rugtla, and the souls used in his creation had extensive magical knowledge of dark magic. Doppelganger possesses all of that, as well as shapeshifting abilities. However...thanks to Dr. Bellgor's intervention, he is not a threat. AT ALL. Despite his power, he is immensely terrified of coming into contact with Sargjinn. He also has a phobia towards demons. And...he is deeply afraid at the prospect of using his powers to fight offensively. For he knows that his body may not be as stable as it looks, and could very well tear itself apart if he messes up. Which is why he likes to use his abilities for leisure and fun instead! Why be a fearsome demon, when he could instead be a handsome devil and lovable rogue?

Genshoku - What a treat this is, for she is a Kitsune from the Feudal Region! One who specializes in Transformation magic...but not on herself. To be more specific, she can transform paint and ink. To this effect, she carries a huge gourd full of colorful paint/ink on her back, and uses it in order to create living paintings. To this effect, she was generally the sort of spry trickster you might expect a Kitsune to be. One who engaged in a lot of debauchery, far too much sake, sex and gambling to be healthy. Yet she is also wildly creative, and often does rather strange things in the name of art. Yet...she has recently been propelled to the public eye at large. When she had begun painting a series of portraits, featuring veeeery strange beings she claims to have actually met. Huh.

Nora - (belongs to ) She is Pythagoras's/Aristotle's/Socrates's wife. This Snowy Vulpin was, truth be told, a sickly individual when Pythagoras first met her, shy, and barely able to step outside for moments at a time without risk of a heat stroke from the sun. Hell, even magic fixes couldn't fix her up, try as she may to find one.  So...leave it to Pythagoras to use his smarts to cook up a medicine that healed her malaise. From there, she had been close to him, seeing him help even more people, and use his smarts to accomplish even more amazing things. As it happens, she fell in love with him for that...and luckily for her, Pythagoras had reciprocated her affections. As of now, she is the proud mother of his child/children-to-be.

Mar'ak - A water horse who is a royal ass! XD SOOO, this guy used to be the royal guard for the Depth Kingdom, being an exalted and long-lived member of the Merfolk's defenses and military might. Except well...that only lasted so long until the Merfolk's xenophobia was beginning to get the better of them, and they started flocking to Queen Krait for leadership. And even the former King and Queen from before was supporting her! Needless to say, Mar'ak got himself exiled after calling the King and Queen FOOLS. To their FACES. And then announcing his disdain for his former community, formerly quitting before he would be forced to kill "landlubbers" for some foolish, xenophobia-fueled "revolution". He continues to be a vital guardian of the water...but he's kinda jaded, so he won't be serving any King or Queen anytime soon.

The Bile Beast - Adrian inherited this from his father, Arthur Rockwell. A corruption of his literal soul that is dependent on his emotions and temperament. This nasty creature is called the Bile Beast, because it is composed from yellow and black bile, which is what comes out of his body in gallons whenever he becomes consumed with great anger, melancholy, fear...mental instability in general. Which is why the poor boy takes great, GREAT pains to at least give himself things to do, to stave it off. Adrian is all too aware of the Bile Beast's existence, and how it wishes to pass itself on to Kasandra. If it ever got the chance...she'd truly be finished.

Oh my god, the nostalgia The Landlord and flippin' Mar'ak, now those two I haven't even thought of for years. Does he still think of everyone as "FOOLS"? lol

Also, love LOVE Naamah's redesign, you the best ^_^

Ohhh my YES, he sure does! XD Like...he isn't just riding on a high horse. He IS the high horse! Just as we remember him, it's this same snobby behavior that got him kicked out of his old Kingdom after being its guardian for years on end. Classic Mar'ak ^^

Not to mention, thank ya dude! Figured her human-like form would go better with this particular verse. SO glad to have finally given so many of the old guys an update.

Glad to see some old familiar faces, although I do have one question: How would being married to Pythagoras/Aristotle/Socrates work? Is it like polyandry? Is Nora only married to one of them? Can each head marry a different woman if they wanted to?

Also, what do you think of naming their baby Euclid?

Ah, so here's the thing!

While Aristotle and Socrates act like individuals of their own right, they are also extensions of the original Pythagoras' personality made physical. Pythagoras is inventive, a creative force, and a problem solver who takes action. Socrates is a rational, critical thinker who acts as a voice of reason. While Aristotle is understanding, compassionate, and analytical towards the world around him.

All three of them form one great mind that is united in their goals. As well as united in their love for Nora.

Same thing when he was still a Pokemon OC! Because Nora was a Glaceon back then, heeeere is an idea of what her children would be like. (since she gave birth to a litter of four)

...I am both satisfied and more confused XD.

Although, if you're looking for more Greek names; Victor could be Archimedes (famed inventor from Alexandria), Krystal could be Gorgo (Queen of Sparta and Wife of Leonidas), and Serris could be Hydna (A famed diver and swimmer from Scione).

Huh. I'll prolly have to consult with CaptainPrower since he made and named them. Although those are admittedly pretty neat ideas!

Not to mention, totally gonna introduce Johann to Kassandra, since Gustav's teaching the little guy how to cook!

Yes...Gustav can cook. And is a really damn good chef at that. ESPECIALLY great at making food for big people/big groups of people.

He sure does dude.

In his original incarnation (he was originally a Krookadile fyi), here he is in all his culinary glory! fav.me/daxr2yf

(And yes, those are Ratatouille puns. XD)

Hell, I bet on occasions, he made food for the Chopper Patrol. Like say, sliders to go with beer.

SPEAKING OF FOOD, totally making a comic of King Norbert and Queen Annie having dinner.

Didja know that back then, in medieval times, THIS weirdness used to be on the menu? twitter.com/themadfeed/status/…

It's great to see all these characters make a comeback! I honestly thought there'd be some characters that are a lot more older here, but I'm just glad to see these ones back - especially Red Tail, Atlas, Agnar, and Doppelganger.

Nora is a reference to Nora Fries, Mr. Freeze's wife from the Batman universe, isn't she?

I think I finally know exactly what Gloomy Gary is now. He'd likely be from the Shadow Kingdom. Perhaps a sort of imp-like race that become more like gargoyles as adults. Not the stone ones. The somewhat demonic ones that nevertheless would act as guardians and whom inspired the stone gargoyles to be made. Marina would obviously become friends with one such person. He is literally the embodiment of her message about Dark Magic being only as bad as you let it be.

Do you think Agnar would be born through a dragon egg that had to be incubated in the womb until it was about to hatch, at which point Queen Annie would deliver it like a baby? Because that's how I imagine it going. Dragon eggs are pretty big! The birthing process would likely help break the shell too. Dr. Frieda would be able to handle this no problem! But she'd worry about how it would leave the mother's body afterwards. This is likely the first case of a human mother giving birth to a dragon for everyone, even her!
