This race belongs to ! And this is a pretty nifty one, because you guys know what? With the Dark Elves being as crude as they are in this 'verse...these guys are pretty much like Dark Elves in themselves!

- Their social structure goes like this. Head Religious Matriarch>King>Dark Coven (church)>Generals and Elite>Warriors>Mages and Scholars>Artisans>Common folk>Slaves and Serfs.

- They fly on giant demonic owls as battle mounts. In combat, they favor finesse and striking quickly, which translates to a lot of ambush/hit-and-run tactics.

- Their current leader is a male Jakura named Varamath. He's like their Napoleon Bonaparte, in that their society is very martial based. I.e. he who kills the most is top dog.

- They believe normal magic is "lesser" to them, which is why their lower caste actually use it, and they're the diplomatic ones.
Dark magic and demonic magic is higher up on their caste system.

- Their religious caste, the Dark Coven, is basically an all female witch cult who preforms their religious rituals and sacrifice.

- The church has more power than their warrior caste, but these are two separate entities. Now, you can be a religious warrior, but this is sort of like in Warhammer with the Ecclisarchy and the Imperial guard. Also, you got to be a sister to be in their church. This particular type of warrior is called a Death Witch. (For example, the female seen in the picture is a Death Witch.)

- If you're not serving the gods, you're shit to them. Their military forces ARE unhappy about having to answer to the church, which leads to them frequently abusing their lower castes. They're at least glad to be above THEM.

- If you have a problem you can always challenge someone to a duel, but sadly you more or likely going to be killed by some more skilled zealot. You can be sacrificed for losing. They don't have prisons either. They just kill you if you commit a major crime.
