AND NOW! The moment you've all been waiting for! The descriptions that y'all need for this ragtag band of demon princes! Only four out of seven, plus one more if you count Baal. Buuuut that's for another time. Can't use my tablet for the weekdays, so I'll likely put up the other concepts on paper. Anyway...to get onto the meat of the page.

The Seven Princes of Hell.

Otherwise known as the Hellmouth. The pinnacles of Cauldron's evils and vices, they are charged with carrying out the dark will of Rahab onto the world. And Tara can do nothing to stop them yet. Because each one of them can emanate an aura that channels the soul-shattering suffering of the damned, causing hellish agony to mortals who fall within its radius.

The only way to guard against it is to gain the prayers and boons of the Seven Archangels.

Tara does not have this yet. So...for now, she can do nothing against them. But learn, and go find the Angels. Before it's too late for her.

Ashmedai (Prince of Lust)

- He is the kind of demon who knows the burning desires and wishes of others. Not just carnal lust, but many other things that people will desperately grasp at. Enough to be tempted into making a potentially dangerous deal with him to attain it, despite his obviously demonic nature. He shows a humorous, witty, and jovial personality that would lead others to believe he's not all bad. And trustworthy enough to keep his word in a bargain. That is...until there is something or someone that HE desperately desires. When that occurs...no one must get between him and the object of his pursuits.

Make no mistake...the niceties are just an act. His way of "playing with his food". Because he is a monster through and through, just like the other members of the Hellmouth.

Beelzebul (Prince of Gluttony)

- He is the kind of demon who devours everything in his path, by any means possible. Beelzebul has very little mind of what's around him, instead seeing all the world and its people as a resource to be plundered. Conveniences to be enjoyed. Food to be eaten. He is incredibly powerful, having the ability to encase himself in a pupa and grow enormous. Thus, the suffering of others is completely beneath his notice, as he steals and wastes the resources of the world. Spreading only plague, famine, death and destruction in his wake, even sacrificing other demons to his appetite.

He is also responsible for an alarmingly large number of possessions. Even when in a mortal body, he acts as a destructive force of nature, rather than a demon.

Lucifer (Prince of Pride)

- One of the most infamous demons of all, he had once been a angel to Ziz himself. And one of the most brilliant of all at that, until Ziz had begun to create mortal races. And charge the Angels to seeing to their growth and well-being, as they had begun to blossom into being. But Lucifer had not just objected to Ziz's choice. But brazenly proclaimed that the Angels should only serve themselves, and use mortals to do their bidding. AND...when his attempt at self-proclaimed leadership was rejected, he started a war in Heaven. And Ziz cast him down with a heavy heart. An incident that amounts to a misbehaved kid throwing a temper tantrum, and being put into time out.

That's him. That's Lucifer. Thus...he is the kind of demon who blames all of Cauldron's people for his fall from grace. And will do anything to see them damned, just like him.

Lotan (Prince of Envy)

- Lotan is the direct progeny of Rahab. He is the least intelligent member of the Hellmouth, barely being capable of intelligent thought. However, what thought he does have in his head channels Rahab's envy and hatred towards all living things on the Ascended Kingdoms. Envious that for all of his power, he is trapped in Hell, and unable to exact his revenge upon Cauldron personally. So...it is Lotan's duty to exact his will. Punishing Cauldron's pitiful existence by using his great mouth to act as a connection between Hell and the mortal realms, allowing numerous demons to spill into the world to spell its damnation.

Thus...he is the kind of demon who is at least aware that he is feeling someone else's emotions. But is just as happy to see Cauldron plunged into fire and death.
