Seems a little much that Suko is already crying. Considering she seemed more annoyed then anything last page just seems weird to me at least. Though over all I do find this as an improve. Fleshes out Ame and Suko a bit more and their relation to one another before throwing them into the whole kill the bad daughter stint.Β

Considering Suko's (true) origin, I'm pushing for her to be a bit overemotional, mostly as a counter to Ame. The first time I sucked super butt at it though, made her super milquetoast - annoyingly so. I'm sure I'm overdoing it though, hahaaaa!

What did you do with Heartcore to gain such a huge fanbase?
Im trying to boost my fans up with my comic but its pretty difficult. Any suggestions?

THAT is a good question. I would say my fanbase is above average, not huge, but it has definitely increased over time.
Some people do fandom-related projects to get big, and then switch over to original content. Ame/Ryo/Suko/Lutz were always my focus though, so I think I failed there, haha! But lots of people have done that. But it's important to do what YOU want to do. You can smell when someone is doing something just to get big VS. someone who is writing/drawing for THEMSELVES first and foremost. The latter are the ones who will have the passion to keep it going for years. Being consistent and keeping it up for years - even in the lean times, is super important. Absolute worse case scenario? You're honing your skills for the next project!
Peers who are also artists/who have webcomics are also super cool. You can suggest things and work off of each other. I have artist bros point out the good and the bad all the time, and it really helps! They're how I know I'm getting somewhere, because they can identify the problems straight away.
Build up a rapport with your fanbase - the people who keep coming back are the ones that matter. It amazes me how often people are out of touch with their fans. I personally am only fans of/supportive of content creators who clearly appreciate their fans. Obviously, this doesn't mean dealing with people who are clearly trying to take advantage of you, or responding to every little thing. But if a fan offers something unique and insightful to say, reciprocate!
