Description WARNING! Its a big file! I remind you guys that I asked you how to submit it and most of you said you prefer the tutorial to be submitted this way, so dont blame me if it takes too much to load.

First part of my tutorials. This one covers the sketch preparation and the lineart. I did my best to explain how to do it, the tools to use and why to use them.
The full tutorial will be about 3 or 4 parts (wich I am still putting together.)
Next will be Base colours and shading. I hope you find usefull!

Please, dont colour, edit or do absolutely anything to the lineart shown in the tutorial!

cool, but why not just multiply the layer so the lines get darker that way instead of constantly redrawing over the top of it? Dx

toi-chan In reply to Yee [2006-05-22 23:24:24 +0000 UTC]

Because the main reason of redrawing the sketch you did is making the lines tidier and give it a better look. Multiply layers only do that, makes them darker. They dont tidy the lines up :3

Yes, but you wont get a clean pretty lineart as if you just redrew over it. I personally find it easier to do that way. It takes less time to me :3

toi-chan In reply to kamali-chan [2006-05-07 18:32:57 +0000 UTC]

You just delete the layer with the red sketch and that's it :3
