Ah, thanks. Hockney came in from the side but the feeling is still the same one. I swear I hadn't seen his piece when I did this one. You'd flip if you knew when I shot this. Let's just say that it was before dirt was invented.

It's a great shot. And it's probably not that uncommon that two artists come to a similar conclusion without knowing of each others work or existence. And I think Hockney's swimmer may have been naked...or at least was in some of his pool paintings.

I love the photo...just as I love Hockney's work. I once attended a lecture he gave in Pittsburgh...speaking of before dirt was invented!
