Why did you call it peacock? Is this probably what the pose is called?
Anyways, very good picture! I love the meditative mood. I'm amazed how even his clothes aren't wet at all. Must be difficult to get into this position without soaking your clothes

Yes, the pose is called Peacock. Before the shoot was over he was soaked with salty water and had to change clothes. All in a day's work.

Ah Paul, you're so sweet. Andrejs is a most amazing guy in every way imaginable. Getting pictures like this one satisfies something deep within me. I have always said, and will always say, that everything I do depends upon the people I work with. I think a good chunk of my skill is in knowing who to work with.

defiantly get that. when i paint its the same thing i look for something that is deeper then just the surface look of a person or object. it has to say something deeper i hope you don't think my comments are just to flatter as they are genuine reflections of how i feel about the work

This is really cool! It's great that the small island is nearly the same color as the water.

Pretty wild isn't it. It was this tiny moment in time as the water was evaporating quickly. I returned four days later and the water was all gone. We got lucky.

Thank you. It could not have been a more magical day in a more extraordinary setting. The fates were smiling on us, that's for sure! The image is completely unmanipulated - what you see is what I saw out there. So amazing. Glad you're enjoying it.
