Flagon, the type that shot down KAL Flight 007 back in 1983. Fitter is more of a ground-attack/strike bomber,Flagon was a pure interceptor.

I was wondering, what company make the best P-61 (1/48 or 1/72 scales)? I am wanting to build one for my sis with motors to spin the props.

not too many kits of the Widow out there. i would reccomend the 1/48 Monogram kit if you wanted to do a project like that, largest kit available, more room to work with. i do wish someone would come out with one in 1/32,it,s one of my all-time favorites, and it would fit into one of my fanfic story-plots too!

I thought the Monogram one looked good. I generally try to look the plane up on Hyperscale to see what they say there, and lo and behold, the never mentioned anything about difficulties about the kit.
