Will always be a special place for the 757 with me. By far the airliner I have travelled on the most often, with Britannia Airways back when they had the classy old livery rather than that horrible blue TUI one. Including a few jump-seat rides as a 12 year old back when such things were possible.
Hope you didn't mind those Rollers under the wings.

Aha, well you you might possibly find an interest in this then. There was a show on TV here a couple of days ago about how to build a Trent, as well as a little history with the RB211, which I recorded and then uploaded.

Just a link to a forum post I made with all 6 youtube parts, or a single download of the whole thing.
Even got footage of a blade-off test for the 787's Trent 1000.

? Did you click the iPlayer link at the top of the topic?
It should be 6 youtube parts in the 4th post (I'm Bry), certainly not limited to the UK as people around the world have already been watching.

i,m sure they,ll be with us for a while yet to come! but as soon as the 87 really gets into full swing,i think we will see a lot of 767,s retiring.{we found the 767-200 to really be a bit costly to operate.}

Yes that will be a real shame
When CO first started at Heathrow they flew B767-200's in but now they send the B764 and sometimes the B777.
