I know, that is allways my goal, the first model i made (hasegawa F-16B+) came out ok on the making, but paintingit was very hard, and it ended up being the awful cousin of the VX F-14

a number of reasons,and it was just too costly to operate without government subsidy. the fleet was getting up there in age as well,and would have been way too costly to replace with new-build airframes.
