Description

One thing that I constantly forget to depict and draw is the fact that Jodi can shape-shift.
Now, not all Pinatari can shape-shift, it’s actually a rare condition only about 5% of the population is born with. It’s not hereditary so it can’t be passed down between parents and their children, and is completely random in it’s manifestation. Because of this “shifters” are highly sought by gangs and posses alike because of their versatile and rare power. However, most if not all Pinatari are ardent pacifists and refuse to use their powers for fighting/combat (even if it’s to do good). Many don’t even stray from the pocket in the South-west that most of their population is concentrated in.
This makes Jodi an incredibly rare sight to many people in the world of “WEST”, as a Pinatari shifter who also travels and actively fights with a posse. She really defies all the standards.
Also as a side-note: Jodi can only effectively shape-shift into real animals, she can’t become mythical creatures like a Gryphon or a Pegasus. She also can’t turn into copies of other people (even if she could, she’d still be pink and a pinata so it wouldn’t really fool anyone).
