Some studies for the purpose of practice and some space filler.
I'll probably move this to scraps later, but I'm putting it here first because my tutors have been saying to me, "Emily! You mustn't be afraid to show people your sketches and your thought processes! You do not have to be perfect!" So forgive me for showing you horrible rough work that won't go anywhere, ever.
Anyway. Here I am, displaying my sketches and thought processes to the world. My thought processes apparently include a melting snail, a creature that has an identity crisis and a ferret wearing a tie.

Personally, I LOVE stuff like this! It has so much energy! I love character bios and profiles, and I love gestural pieces. Even practice sketches!

They definitely help, but after a ton of sketches and stuff, it gets hard to do a finished painting :c
