Good art, poor plot. It's just one big love letter to Grimlock, and lacks any real substance. The big explosion was especially facepalm worthy. It would have been more interesting if Grimlock had lost and was pulled out of the rubble, beaten but still alive. Ah well.

Grimlock can match the power of Megatron, so no one of the two dwellers had won or lost, then both survive... I think that a story about Grimlock beaten by Meggie is not so interesting than one whit the protagonist still alive and BADASS!

Eh, a matter of taste I suppose. I've just seen too many explosions used for no good reason at all. I mean, -why- was there even one?
I don't know if Grimlock is stronger than Megatron. Personally I doubt it, because even Prime seems like he'd be able to defeat Grimlock.
And honestly? A story where Grimlock would be beaten WOULD be more interesting. Too often is Grimlock portrayed as the ultimate badass, with almost no character flaws, something that is gotten quite old by now. But to show that he can be beaten? That would make for an interesting story not just because it's rarely done, but because it could also show how Grimlock reacts to a situation that he did not emerge victorious from. How would the ultimate badass react to being beaten? How would he react to losing? Not only that, but it would also show Megatron as a serious threat, someone not to be messed with.

Megatron as a serious threat is not a new concept for a story, and could be less interesting than Grimlock survive a battle against Megatron. :-|
