I recognized Terrorsaur in the very first panel. I loved that toy, even if he did look kinda goofy. xD Well done!

...Aww, poor guy just never gets a break, does he? XD I could actually imagine this happening in the show.
I don't see too much love for Terrorsaur in the comments which makes me a little sad, the guy was my favourite in the show. The scenes with him and Waspinator flying and bickering still stand out in my mind to this day, the two were such a hilarious duo and I was so sad to see Terrorsaur burn up in the lava.
I really think Terrorsaur was just a guy with a bunch of insecurities and he just wanted to prove himself as a valuable warrior and leader to the other Predacons...to not be laughed at but to be respected, although I admit that's based on pure speculation.
His transmetal toy looked so awesome...and that glowing arm...that DAMN glowing arm, it made me think Terrorsaur would eventually come back, but he never did...the show LIED to me and as much as I like the show, I cannot forgive that trap door that brought me false hope that my favourite character would come back better than ever. But the show seemed to just forget about him...I also can't forgive Scorponok for dragging him in the lava with him...that bastard.
I'm way less attatched to Scorponok, the guy was just as bland as you could get. He's just a loyal dimwitted...sometimes smart suck up...and that's pretty much it, no real personality to speak of. That's where my man Terrorsaur comes in, he wasn't afraid to upstage Megatron and if he were a loyal suck up as well, the show would simply be boring, I'm glad there were characters who questioned the leadership qualities of others and would do anything to rise in power, it made the show much more interesting.
Besides, later on we got Inferno who is just as hilarious as he is deadly, not only was he a loyal suck up as well, but he was one with an actual personality, when he came in we didn't really need Scorponok anymore...and to be honest I almost completely forgot about him, it's a shame too because he has such a cool name, but the bland design and boring personality cannot save him.
But I'm glad this comic was made, seeing Terrorsaur as a transmetal back in action and imagining his voice from the show pleases my inner child greatly, even if he is still a joke. But oh well, that's why I love him. Poor guy.

Something tells me they had something planned for those two originally, but the idea never panned out for whatever reason. After all, why bother showing them starting to go Transmetal if they were just going to kill them off anyway?

Oh, how I LOVED when these two useless thugs died.....the show went up enormously in my eyes! Perhaps the most pleasant surprise I've ever experienced in a TF show!

Yeah, the writers could never really make up their minds on what do to with Scorponok. Sometimes he was smart, sometimes dumb. About the only thing consistent about him was his fanatical loyalty to Megatron. And Terrorsaur, well, he was Starscream Lite.

Exactly....and every single character in the show had much development and growth during Season 1, but these two persisted in remaining the same one-dimensional cliched stock characters.
(Wooooo lookit dat, evil mostly-dumb brute and evil scheming but dimwitted brute! How original!)

I absolutely agree!...and with that, the quality of the whole thing took a giant step upwards.
We got another dumb brute, but whose stupidity is loads of fun, with some serious and distinctive attitude spiced up with weakness for the ladies....and an utterly retarded chivalrous goofball, who is IMO one of the single most brilliant characters in TF history.
I'd take that over two generic dumb brutes any day

Well, I think the show was already phenomenal before they axed those two. They weren't dragging the show down, they were just excess fat that got trimmed off.
But yes, Silverbolt remains one of my favorite Transformers characters ever.
