Description
I had so much trouble finding decent interview clothes as a man. I never had so many issues in women's clothes, which is a testament to the fact that men's clothes are not made for female bodies.I'm 5'9", a decent height, but I am a big guy with wide shoulders and a barrel chest. And even though I don't have wide hips, they are still wider than any cis-male's hips.
In the end, I stuck with my favorite brand of shirts--Marc Ecko's--and some khakis that I surprisingly found at Walmart.
Also, ties are shiny and colorful but I'm not paying $60 for a tie dagnabit.

Lol. First time shopping in the mens half: WTF do these numbers mean!?
I figured out a bit too late measurements are different in 'man land', lol!

XD Yeah, it takes some getting used to!
It seems to me that the numbers for men make more sense logically (women's measurements seem not to have a connection with the real world at all, lol) but if you are used to women's measurements the ones for men are quite confusing, lol!

Ugh I have this issue so bad. The only pants Im comfortable wearing are these really baggy jeans that like usually only people that have their pants half down their butts would wear. I have to hem them all myself too. Everything else..hugs. And Pleats. Just no. Luckily I havent had issues with shirts except too long of sleeves. I just have a big butt and thighs and Im short @_@

/hugs/
augh pleats continue to be some kind of fashion statement from hell.
if i find awesome pants then i more than likely have to hem them, so i feel ya. and yep, button down long sleeve shirts give me elephant arms! where i'm just swimming in sleeves.
but! if i can pass on one bit of advice now--sweater vests! buy brands that are loose enough to be flattering in the chest and bam! gets me out of the button down/t-shirt funk.
good luck!

Aah that sounds cute. I used to have a major emo/punk style but I've opened up to sweaters and more ...eh....fashionable clothes I guess you could say. My fiance got me an awesome sweater for Christmas that I still adore. It's just a problem finding summer clothes more. Winter, layering is good and hides things. Summer...meh.
I often just wear cargo shorts, but they make my ass look bigger. >.>
I haven't gotten my top surgery yet either, so it's a pain to hide it all...Luckily I have a good binder and a smaller bust.

I'm facing the same problems, shirts are the real issue since I've stopped swinging my hips while I walk. Stupid boobs are always blowing my cover.

I always have that problem with jeans. I have pretty large hips and I can never find jeans that don't show them off. The worst part is that I'm not even ALLOWED to look in the men's section for jeans because my mom won't let me. She stalks all of my shopping trips.

Luckily my mom is starting to loosen up a little. She's finally letting me cut my hair (The hair I have right now completely ruins my chances of passing), and she's letting me wear my brother's old t-shirts.

Me too! I'm 5' and I'm petite, I am very unfortunate because I am short, petite, curvy, big-hipped, big-boobed, and big/average/butted. -_-

i've got the opposite issue lol. i'm a bigger guy but not necessarily taller, so big and tall clothes just hang off me. but then most places don't sell bigger than an extra large. problems!
