Description
Of course, the majority of Goths are unique in their style and music preferences. However, within the subculture there are certain "types" of Goth with particular characteristics. And it can be fun to classify them. Naturally, classifications for each "type" vary from person to person, so you may disagree with what I say here!I've heard people refer to the velvety Victorian-esque Goths as TradGoths, being the modern archetype, but I prefer to call that style Romantic as the style I consider TradGoth is the one closest to what the oldest bands, and their fans, used to wear.

Well, I wouldn't say "Goth" is dead. I'd say it has... evolved. Like the human race. Meaning in a wee few decades the "Traditional Goth" may be sadly gone.

I see you know how to spell it, but in the actual picture Siouxsie is spelled without the second 's'. You might want to fix that

Oh, how I wish I'd been born in the 80's! Hehe I love all the old-school stuff. Bauhaus are great. I thought The Cure fell into this category too? Though I guess it all depends on your viewpoint. They're awesome anyway, wherever they fit ^_^

The Cure very often fall into this category, although some hardcore Trad types consider them too "mainstream."

I love these little "goth cards"! They're cute, informational, and well-drewn.
Besides, what flavour of gothdom am I? I like Bauhaus, but I'm in the Kindergoth age group. So am I a Kindertrad or a Tradkid? (Don't take this seriously).
