Description
Of course, the majority of Goths are unique in their style and music preferences. However, within the subculture there are certain "types" of Goth with particular characteristics. And it can be fun to classify them. Naturally, classifications for each "type" vary from person to person, so you may disagree with what I say here!I myself am a big fan of Star Trek, love science, participate in role play, spend way to much time on the computer and speak Japanese. I am most certainly a Geek.

Out of all the goth types listed this is probably the type that most of my friends and I would be classified as. Albeit I am more of a film nerd type of goth.

I get called a goth alot, but out of all the goth type this is the only one I really come near to being, that and metal head. So I guess when people call me a goth their a bit right.
Either way this entire collection of goth type pics crack me up, you've hit them right on the head really. The pics are pretty good to.

While not a goth I am a geek (not that I mean to rip on goths, gothic subculture has produced some pretty cool stuff). I identify with most of the stuff put forth here RPGs, dark fantasy and horror flavored books, bad science fiction, strange musical tastes, you've hit on a LOT of the stuff I'm into. I really like what you've done with it, its really quite endearing.

im definitely more geek goth than any of those other types. i was looking at all of them and reading the descriptions and was wondering which one best describes me... and i saw this one. thought i don't listen to geeky music(i pretty much exclusively listen to punk rock), and i don't cosplay or roleplay(though if i could, i would, and if i had the chance i would most definitely go to a LOTR convention)... but i LOVE the Harry Dresden books

It's funny though, if you have a very strict unifrom at school and can't wear eyeliner etc, if you ARE a goth geek, people refuse to believe you if they never see you out of school uniform. Ish frustrating.
