After a lengthy summer break, the comic is back on track! It took me weeks to figure out the right camera angles and actions on each panel, not to mention the dialogs... but at least we finally have a digestible page as a result. :3 The backgrounds may not be perfect, the pony proportions are messed up some places, but it's close enough.
The system Octavia is explaining is based a loot distribution system that we applied in my old guild (not invented by us, we just used it).

The Lyre she first received in this comic was from Bon Bon wasn't it? The one she literally tried to play with her horn. I doubt that was actually Lyra's lyre, so I believe she'll do just fine with the guild's instruments. Or maybe that's just me, I dunno.

Nope, she's not a musician. Though I don't doubt she could learn to play very well (she showed potential in many episodes), I doubt she would have the patience to play it for minutes without getting distracted.

Really? I've never seen anything like that. I mean, it is pretty simple, but I've never seen any guilds in WoW use it. Then again, I've only ever been in two guilds, so

Me too, and I was very lucky with my second one. Since they were mostly British it greatly improved my capabilities of understanding vocal, every day english. xD
The system was applied very simply too, we had an addon that popped up when it was time for looting, we just had hit the need/greed/pass buttons. It made loot distribution extremely fast, and kept it fair at the same time.

My guild sorta had the standard "If you need it, hit need. If not, and someone else dose, hit pass. If none needs it, hit greed." Policy. ^_^

I've looked around on youtube a while ago, and only found ancient greek melodies for the lyre... But knowing Lyra, she's playing the lyrified versions of popular songs from the 90's and 00's. :3

The two last panels could just as well have been the one and the same. There is no joke about the instruments appearing any more so it just going "poof" and appearing could be done in one panel.

TriteBristle, have you considered making this comic in Flash? Not animated of course - although that would be awesome - but to speed up draw time by using puppets, because hooves are somehow impossible to draw right.
