Man, I dunno. This happened.
Starfire is such a engmatic character. Princess, slave, superhero, she’s got a LOT of facets to her. Which is great and terrifying at the same time. She’s great because she’s got a great look, powers, has had many incarnations over various mediums. She’s terrifying because she walks that line between controversial and creative. Her culture is so empathetic, emotional, and yet can be warlike. A peaceful race that has the ability to rise up violently to protect its culture. Basically what I”m saying is she’s a unusual character that can be approached from a lot of directions.
*shrugs*, it sounded good in the brain.

Starfire has always and will forever be my favorite female DC character for many of the very reasons you mentioned. I love her and I love your portrayal I think you captured alot of her essence. Grat job!

Awww, thank you! Its too bad they haven't really found that right writer to 'get her' properly. Don't get me wrong, everyone has their own slants to things, but you should still play in the same sandbox. Lobdell just got it wrong, imo.

Kory, to me was always one of the more unappreciated members of the Titans. I know that a lot of fans thought that she was a clueless bimbo from another planet (those that didn't think she was a slut.), and that she was only there for the eye candy.
I never thought that.
Kory was always a dichotomy; on the one hand she is fiercer than any Amazon warrior; as tender as any mother; sweeter than any confection on the planet; stronger than all get out when necessary; insecure as to her relationships (especially with dopey Dick, who DIDN'T deserve her anymore.); proud as any member of royalty while being humble about her life.
Yeah, she is a heroine, through and through. She went through a crappy adolescence on account of her crappy older sister (who should have been put down), escaped to a life on Earth, went through more crap than you could shake the proverbial stick at, and still managed to come out on top (at least relatively so.)
Next to Dani Moonstar, she's one of my favorites. They'd get along like a house on fire as both come from warrior cultures, don't take any kind of crap from anyone else, are very empathetic with others, smarter than they let on, sneakier than any Slytherin including Salazar (you have to be sneaky in order to survive a crappy life.), fiercely loyal to their friends, and perfectly willing to roll up their metaphorical sleeves and kick ass.

I totally agee....she's SO COMPLEX but should be fairly easy to depict. Its frustrating to see people NOT get her.
