Thank you m'dear! I hope you get enough from them to make you more curious for more info. They are aimed to be basic, explain enough to understand, but not so technical as to bore you to tears...

Yeah... actually, I have only been on and off of here for moments at a time... I've been trying to get a bit caught up...
There's folks here on DA that "think" they are trying to help by explaining things that don't really matter in the long or short run.
Oh! And you don't have to tell me you're just kidding... Alice likes to say she's a 23 year old trapped in a 50+ body, I'm even worse, I'm just a 17 year old trapped in a 50+ body!
Thank you for this trophy... and the great honor bestowed upon myself, I would like to thank other's for it being possible, but in fact my procrastination is totally and completely my great skill in this particular artistic form!

Sorry to keep adding to your reply list, I guess no one is happy with there age. I'll buy that your 17
But it goes the other way to... I'm a 13 year old trapped in a 8 orΒ 9 year old body. It's not really fun ether. lol
Β
Since your so good at keeping up! lol your beautiful wifeΒ Alice is featured here fav.me/d72uagdΒ I really hope I included you to. but I became so lost of who I had while doing it.

That's easy to do.Β Oh you lucky thing you! You'll be one of those 30 year old hotties, that look like they are 20!
Don't worry m'dear, you'll bloom out all too soon.. Then in about 20 years, you'll look back to when you were 13 and say, "Damn! I wish I would have appreciated youth more!"
I'm sure you've heard all this... The reason you hear it so much is we all do it!
And we all think the oldsters telling us this are just full of fertilizer....
Remember, it's the 's along the way that matter...Β Here's another!

well, it's really not all that hard to actually apply what I've written... I think the important part is knowing what you want first. The way I shoot, I tend to think the shot through first, I imagine in my mind what I want the finished composition to look like. Then I apply the technique to suit my purposes. Sometimes I screw up, sometimes I surprise myself.

Don't you just love the articles that make the simple so complicated you forgot just why you wanted to read it in the first place?

I am faving it just because of the time it took to you. Also, it might be of use for new people who know nothing about photography. It's good to have it to be able to share it with them ! Well done

Good job on this Bob.
It makes me remember the 3x5 notecards my Dad made for me many years ago when I first started shooting with a 35mm SLR. He laid out charts and info on different f/stops and ISO settings. I carried those cards with me long after I no longer needed them, until they fell out of my camera bag into a mud puddle and became ruined.
