Description
There's a version of this that the icon at the bottom blinks, I just can't upload it in the right category on dA =w= So I'll add a link to that later.Anyway, this is how I made my current icon only that required a little more artistic skill because my icon eats itself. This is very basic but I hope it's helpful!

Yeah, other then that, this is self explanatory. And made on GIMP. Lol

Well I fixed it by making a background on it, but i would like not having on, but it looks like it's running backwards...

Save as gif, then make a hook at ''save as animation'' -> export. Gimp will ask something, click on crop ^^ now make a hook at 'loop forever' and there it is, a drop down menu, choose 'one frame per layer (replace)'

How do I add another layer like what you did with adding the donut picture to the first layer? And what if the base image you want it to be isn't 50x50? This would help but I don't really get it.....

Hi I saw your tutorial and it was super helpful and I am so happy to learn how to animate a icon but I have a problem, when i tried to upload it as my new avatar it said "An Error has occurred. Unable to set avatar - Your Image is too large: it must be smaller than 15 kB" I don't know what to do

You add a layer by going to layers to "add layer". To duplicate you right click the layer & click "duplicate layer"
